What to Expect at Sunday Services

Services are every Sunday at 11am. Everyone is welcome, from all faiths and none.
  • We usually start with a short time for prayer and meditation before the service, at around 10.50am.
  • The service may include: hymns, prayers, readings, and reflections.
  • If you have been to a more traditional church, you might find that the tunes of our hymns are familiar, but not the words.
  • We stand up for hymns, and sit for everything else. If you find it difficult to stand, please do stay seated.
  • Often we sing The Lord's Prayer, during which we stay seated. This isn't in our hymn book; we just know it. Feel free to look perplexed.
  • During the service, we pass around a collection plate for voluntary donations.
  • Afterwards, you are very welcome to join us in the coffee lounge for hot drinks, biscuits, and a friendly natter.

We provide hymn books with lyrics and sheet music.
Some of us take our singing very seriously!
